Settings

Our nurseries are situated in Bletchingdon (OX5 3DH), Eynsham (OX29 4EH) and Farmoor (OX2 9NT) in west Oxfordshire. Information about our settings can be found on our web site.

Roles and responsibilities

As a member of our team, depending on your job role, you will be involved in supporting some of the responsibilities below

  • educating and caring for the children attending the setting
  • planning and supervising activities whilst scaffolding learning and development opportunities during experiences such as; arts and crafts, music and mealtimes
  • helping children develop communication and language skills
  • feeding babies and ensuring their personal needs are met
  • supporting purposeful observations and mainting their learning journeys
  • ensure safeguarding and welfare of the children is paramount

Willow Cottage Nurseries are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to have a clear DBS check and to sign up for the DBS Update Service. External candidates will need to provide two references from ex employers.
